The Legal Grand Conference 2015, under the slogan "digital advocacy", will have as keynote speaker the british Richard Susskind. The main objective of this Conference is the creation of international networking to promote Portugal as a centre of excellence in the provision of legal services. The international nature of this project that will take the event to São Paulo (Brazil) in 2016, is based on the disclosure of the know-how of Portuguese origin, and the image of a Lisbon as the international financial, legal and economic interests.
The Legal Grand Conference is the largest law event of the year in Portugal, scheduled for October 13 in the Estoril Congress Center. Under the motto "digital advocacy", it will have as main speaker the british Richard Susskind. Able to trace trends and generate highly effective networking. Participants will have the opportunity to uncover some unpublished experiments worldwide.
This project will always have an annual edition in Portugal, in date and place to be set by the organization. From 2016 on, it will begin the internationalisation of this cycle of conferences, with the aim of being present in most capitals of the Portuguese-speaking countries and in other world capitals for the dissemination of national know-how.
Richard Susskind is a professor at the University of Oxford, Government Advisor, author of the book Tomorrow´s Lawyers and the biggest world reference in digital law. At the end of 2014, our guest was in Madrid, in Legal Management Forum, before an audience of more than 500 people and a Committee of honor led by Hon. SR. d. Rafael Catalá, Minister of Justice.
